Chapter 7 of Eventide: Pixie Hats is now available on our Elite Dragon’s Bard Website. On the eve of the Spring Revels in Eventide, the local milliner is in need of help. The local pixies — the bane of the town who are constantly being locked up in the local street lamps by the town Constable Pro Tempore — decide that they must come to the rescue of their old friend Merinda that night — whether she wants their help or not!

Coming next is Chapter 8: Mumbles and Stumbles wherein Percival and Jarod both create similar romantic scenes with disastrous results. Astute readers will note that this was originally to be part of chapter 7 but now is a chapter of its own… part of the extraordinary nature of writing a book in serial form!

Chapter 6 of Eventide: Father Pantheon has just gone live on our Elite Dragon’s Bard Website. We meet Father Patrion Trantus, a priest who has wandered from his original calling to serve the Lady of the Sky and now serves the citizens of Eventide in all their strange beliefs. Two men come to Father Patrion in the night pressing him for help in winning true love in almost identical ways … and priests have a terrible track record for helping in this sort of situation.

Coming next is Chapter 7: Pixie Hats wherein the town milliner gets help from the pixies with remodeling all her hats — whether she likes it or not! And where Percival and Jarod both create similar romantic scenes with disastrous results.

Chapter 5 of Eventide: Treasure Box as just gone live for subscribers to Eventide. This chapter was originally entitled ‘The Infallible Plan’ but I think this title suits the chapter better now that it is finished.  This chapter introduces us to Beulandreus Drudgeon — the towns dwarven blacksmith, who may have something magical to help Jarod win his fair Caprice.  Laura says this chapter is ‘darling.’ All five chapters are available to new subscribers immediately.

Coming next is Chapter 6: Father Pantheon wherein we meet the town’s reluctant religious leader and how the smallest of mistakes can ruin the best of plans.

We are excited to present Chapter 3 today of Eventide. It introduces us to Aren Bennis — an enormous centaur who works his farm just north of the village. There is far more to Farmer Bennis than anyone in Eventide knows and the mysterious centaur intends to keep it that way! When the ebullient Edvard apparently recognizes the farmer, Bennis must act quickly to keep the Bard close enough to silence the Bard from telling one story too many.

This chapter closes Part 1 — “Chasing One’s Own Tale” and brings us to the beginning of Part 2 — “Feet of Prowess: Wherein Jarod tries to find a gift for Caprice in the town but discovers the heart of a poet in the most unlikely of places.”
